New York City Invitational

On October 12th, 10 students departed from Austin to head to The Bronx for the New York City Invitational!

This was the first out-of-state travel for the fall semester and kicked off our super busy month of travel in October.

Our Public Forum debaters braved seven preliminary rounds over two days.

The Lincoln-Douglas debaters Nate Watkins and Luke Schooler both broke after 6 rounds, with Luke advancing to the first out round and Nate advancing to the bid round!!

Our duo interpretation team of Lucky Cantu and Lily Steinhauser placed first, earning their first bid of the year!!
