Who We Are

We are a family. When we ask members why they joined the team, “I found my people,” is what we hear often hear. While we compete at the highest levels of one of the most demanding high school activities, our friendships come first. Where else does a freshman have a regular D&I Circle Meeting with a team captain, national champion and student body president? The mentoring on our team is a highlight for those learning to navigate high school, those ready to graduate and everyone in between.

On just about any measure, we have teammates who are like us and those who may be very different. We cherish what each of us bring to the team and seek to model inclusivity for our campus. You’ll find athletes, science fair champions, IB students, those thriving and those struggling. Any Anderson student can feel at home on our team. We support one other and our Booster Club steps up to ensure anyone can participate and compete on our team regardless of capacity to pay tournament or travel fees.

If you’re looking for an easy extra curricular activity to beef up your resume, this isn’t it. We challenge ourselves because we love to learn and refine our craft. Our tournament schedule is flexible, which allows us to invest in academics, sports and other extra curricular activities. But the flexibility means you set your own goals for when you’ll compete, how hard you’ll prepare and how much you’ll invest in yourself and your team. If that sounds like fun, you too may have found your people.

The Team continues to champion on the local, state, and National level. Multiple Teams rank among the Top 100 in the Nation with some years in the Top 10. We take the spirit of friendship and competition seriously and enjoy every bit of it.
