Incoming Vice President, Texas Forensics Association

Joe Uhler, Director of Speech and Debate, has been elected as the incoming Vice President of the Texas Forensic Association.  In school year 2012-2013, he will be the sitting VP and will assume the office of President of the TFA in 2013-2014.  Congratulations to Mr. Uhler for this recognition by his peers.

Educator of the Year

On September 10, 2011, at 2011 the Grapevine Classic awards ceremony, Mr. Uhler was honored with a plaque and a standing ovation in recognition of the impressive growth and success of the team under his strong and dedicated leadership.  Congratulations, Mr. Uhler!  We all thank you for your outstanding service to Anderson and the Speech and Debate Team!

Coaching Excellence in Extemporaneous Speaking Award

At the 2011 Tournament of Champions held in Chicago, Anderson’s Speech & Debate coach, Joseph Uhler, received the Coaching Excellence in Extemporaneous Speaking Award.  It is our honor to congratulate Mr. Uhler for being recognized as one of the nation’s best Extemporaneous Speaking Coaches.  Congratulations, Mr. Uhler, and thank you for your outstanding service to our school and team.
